Participant in The Run 2016

The School is an alternative school, located in Chennai which focuses on holistic education for the children - one of a very few schools in India which tries to educate the 'whole person'. The students, through their curriculum grapple with the various environmental, social issues facing the world and try and understand the causation of these problems and see it in relation to the kind of choices they make. I feel this kind of an education is an urgent need in today's world. The school has had to move since their present lease has expired. They have acquired a piece of land for this purpose and are now looking to raise funds for the construction of the school.
