Participant in The Run 2016

I started running in October 2015. Instantly I knew I had discovered a new passion! The undefined path before me and the music from my headphones made me want to run faster and longer distances. In February 2016 I ran my first marathon, a half marathon, in Auroville, Pondicherry.

Running has been making me stronger in body and mind.

While I usually enjoy running alone on empty roads even before sunrise, I have now decided to run for a cause.

The School, KFI, a landmark on Besant Avenue for decades, is now forced to relocate and is hoping to raise funds for the same.

Being married to an alumnus of The School and now a proud father of a class III student, I have many a time wished that I could have gone to such a wonderful school. The School is everything that I believe education to be and much more.

While I have faith that The School will quickly make its home in any new environment, some of us (parents/alumni) have volunteered to participate in the WIPRO Marathon 2016 and run to raise funds for The School and its relocation.
